A proposal for building on your already awesome brand.

GO GREEK is Exactly the kind of business I like to work with. Here’s why:

To me, Go Greek isn’t just great food. It’s the full experience.

Person seasoning grilled skewers of meat and vegetables on a barbecue grill.
  • The grill is pure theatre: the sound, the aroma, the energy of the sizzle.

  • You and your team’s banter and personality makes ordering fun, not just a functional transaction.

  • The long queues at EVERY event say it all: people already love what you do.

I think you’ve already built the foundation of a strong brand. Now it’s time to make your visuals and digital presence match the energy and quality of the food itself.

Why Work With Me:

A man wearing a baseball cap and a t-shirt with a circular logo, sitting at a workshop desk, drawing on a piece of paper with a pen, with various tools and supplies on the wall behind him.
A man with a beard and wearing a baseball cap and a jacket with a graphic on the back, sitting at a cluttered workspace, drawing or writing on a piece of paper.

I’m Mark, a graphic designer and illustrator running a small brand design studio at The Base.

I specialise in helping personality-driven B2C small businesses: breweries, street food traders, tattoo studios, music artists... to grow loyal followings.

See some examples of my work here --->

My focus is always turning casual buyers into loyal fans.
I do this by building consistent and memorable customer experiences.

Go Greek has all the ingredients already.
I’d love to help you package it up in a way that keeps you at the front of people’s minds (and in their bellies!).

3 Ways I Think We Could Work Together:

3 Ways I Think We Could Work Together:

A person taking a photo of food with a smartphone, with bottles and condiments on the countertop in the background.

Step 1. Supercharge Social Media

When we spoke at The Base, we talked about starting with social media. I think that’s the perfect place to begin.

A person taking a photo of a plate of food with a smartphone in a kitchen or restaurant setting. Bottles, possibly condiments, are visible in the background.

Go Greek has so much personality and atmosphere to share; it’s a natural fit for platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Even TikTok.

  • Announce upcoming locations (so fans never miss you).

  • Showcase your menu and the ‘Go Greek experience’ with scroll-stopping content.

  • Share the Go Greek team’s personality.

  • Behind-the-scenes moments that make people feel part of the family.

For a great reference point, check out Prodigal Coffee Roasters:

It’s a different product (coffee) I know, and a different region (Australia) but they do a great job of making their social media account feel like a lifestyle brand: personality, humour, some merch and tons of cool photography.

A man with tattoos on his arms and legs is standing on a beach parking lot, drinking from a can. He is wearing a cap, sleeveless shirt, shorts, and white shoes with striped socks. The ocean with waves and a pier are visible in the background.

If you were interested in taking this route, I work with some awesome local photographers & videographers who can create high-quality, reusable video and photo content.

In particular I’m thinking these two:

Elouise for food/event videography:

Tim for photography:

AND, if you wanted to go one step further... we could also:

A collage of black and white and color images promoting a new Italian restaurant called Cantina, featuring dishes like pizza and pasta, a woman holding a pizza box, and a food truck.
Collage of black and white images and text promoting a new Italian restaurant called Cantina. Includes menu items, a photo of a woman holding pizza, illustrations of food, and a food truck.

Step 2. Strengthen Your Overall Visual Identity

Make everything look cohesive, bold and unmistakably Go Greek.

  • Eye-catching stall/gazebo signage.

  • Menus and packaging that feel part of the same brand.

  • Cool staff t-shirts (so good your fans will want them).

  • Aprons

  • Loyalty cards or stamps that encourage repeat visits.

  • Maybe vehicle graphics so you advertise your business wherever you go?

AND, if you wanted the full works, we could even:

Step 3. Build a Simple but Powerful Website

Person wearing a sweater and a bracelet working on a laptop at a wooden desk with a book nearby.

A home-base where your story lives and your fans can always find you.

Core features:

  • Share your personal story & brand journey.

  • List upcoming locations and events.

  • Host a collection/delivery menu.

  • Collect email addresses for a regular newsletter.

Optional extras:

  • Sell branded merch (your die-hard fans would 100% love to wear Go Greek tees!)

  • A recipe page to showcase and share authentic Greek cuisine.

  • Blog: updates from the Go Greek team: news, events, or fun thoughts.

  • Gallery of your events and food in action.

An alternative to a website could be to use an ordering platform like Hatches Up.

I spoke with them yesterday at NEC and was quite impressed by the functionality of their platform.

A black and white sketch of a food stand with a striped roof, serving tacos, nachos, a lime, and a chili pepper, with a menu sign and a smaller stand nearby.

The Big Picture

Social media brings attention.

Visual identity keeps that attention.

A website builds a community around it.

A black and white photograph of a coastal village with white buildings on a hillside overlooking the sea, with boats anchored near the shoreline and rocks in the water.

We could start with just one step (social media).

Or we could take on two steps (social + identity) to give Go Greek a stronger visual presence.

Or we could go for all three (social + identity + website) and create a full, joined-up system for building loyalty.

Any combination of these steps will turn queues into a loyal following that comes back again and again... and again.

Ready to take Go Greek to the next level?
Let’s talk.

Let’s arrange a time to chat about how we can bring your brand to life online and in the streets.

We’ve only spoken briefly so far, so I’d love to find out more about your ambitions for Go Greek.
